Tenses game.
Hi again!
I did all the three exercices.
My score wasn´t very good, but not because of my knowledge about tenses is awful. in fact it was all beacause I was a mess looking for treasure :p
The hardest part for me were the sentences with the conditional structure. I am still having problems with those ones.
for example this one
When Michael sees the film, he cries.
When Michael sees the film, he will cry.
good exercice!!
bye!

Hi Thom, sorry for the delay with all the homeworks. But I`ve also had a lot of work to do.
I tried two of the three exercises.
As paramedic I think I did quite good. It wasn`t so difficult. I got the job in the first try.
On the other hand I had some difficulties about being a doctor. In the third task I had some troubles with the instructions. but finally I got it.

The story of the robbery.
It was another boring sunday evening. A couple was walking down a street in the centre of the city. They had spent almost all the day looking for a present for their little son. Finally, thank god! They stopped in front of a window shop and found what they had been really looking for.
Both very exited went in the shop and bought the so wished present. The couple came out of the shop and decided go home. But that "boring" sunday evening had prepared something for them that they didn't know yet.
As soon as they started their way home. A strange woman began to follow them very carefully, when suddenly in a damn fast move she stole something from the woman's bag and started to run.
A man who saw all what had happened, shouted and told the woman that she had been robbed.
So the couple inmediately without thinking about it started to chasing the robber. Luckily, a police man was on the way, so he joined the couple in their mission to catch the criminal.
The thief woman was really fast and it seemed that she was a very professional because she could manage the situation and was about to escape and complete her crime.
what she wouldn't expect was that for her bad luck an unexpected character was waiting for her on the next corner. An old lady who could not have seemed more inoffensive gave the robber a quick karate chop and left her lying unconscious on the floor.
Finally the evil woman was arrested and the old lady gave the couple back the stolen purse. The couple was very pleased with the old heroine and they invited her to their's son birthday party.
Another happy ending.

Phrases, phrases, phrases.
Hi Thom!
It wasn't too bad I think.
The score I had in prepositional phrases was 80 out of 100
and in verbs phrases 18 correct out of 20.
I couldn't see the page for genitives phrases, so I missed that exercise.
bad for me :(

Oasis' song
Who do you think he is singing to?At the begining I thought that probably he was singing to his girlfriend, but in the end I'm not really sure because for me according what he's saying, it sounds more that he hates her insted of loving her. So I suppose he's singing to he's ex-girlfriend or maybe they just had a row.
On the other hand according to the title of the song maybe he's singing to his wife. He never mention any person or the name of anybody so I'm not really sure.
What does he think of this person?
As I said before the man in the song hates the things that the person he is singing to does.
What phrases tell you this?
"I hate the way that even though you know you're wrong you say you're right
I hate the books you read and all your friends youre music's shite..."
"I hate the way that you're so sarcastic and you're not very bright
you think that everything you've done's fantastic..."
Does he still feel the same at the end of the song?
No, at the end of the song he admits that maybe he could stay alone for a week or two. but after all he would come back with this person he`s singing to.

Crocodiles escape in Vietnam

The article I read/listened to was about an escape of crocodiles in Vietnam.
The escape was caused by flash floods that destroyed the cages where the crocodiles were and the authorities didn`t know exactly how many crocodiles had escaped but there were several hundred.
What I found more interesting about this piece of news was that in Vietnam the crocodiles are farmed for meat and their skin because it is used to make bags and other kind of clothe, which made me thought that this escape could have been seen as an oportunity of revenge for crocodiles. xD
The situation was really chaotic because hundreds of these crocodiles were now taken up residence in lakes where people used to go swimming and obviously it would be really difficult and maybe impossible to track them down.

the first day after the plane crashed

At the begining the situation was horrible, it couldn`t have been worst. First of all we lost Peter he didn`t survived the crash and lost his head out. the pilot is really hurt. She`s broken her legs and she`s unable to do any move. We tried to do something about it and she`s better now but still with so much pain. I also had a couple of wounds. Romina helped me with that and fortunately they weren`t very serious.
After two or three hours of the crash, when we felt a little better we decided the next step to follow because obviously we had to do something to get out of there. the only thing we could find in the rests of the plane was a little map that shows the places round the crash site. we decided that we couldn`t stay all uf us together so we divided the group in two teams. In one of those were Romina and me and in the other team Cote and Pato.
The first thing we thought after of analize the map was that we should go to the road to see if we could find somethiing or someone there, so Cote and Pato went to find out.
As we saw that were smoke coming from the deep of the forest me and Romina set off in that direction hoping that the fire should belong to people and no to a forest fire...
